*SPECIAL NOTE: We don’t do too many Mother/Son dances but when we do most times we use “I.O.U”. It’s almost perfect except Jimmy Dean narrates the story instead of singing. Local used and collector record shops tell me around Mother’s Day they run out of that record REAL fast.

“The Hand That Rocks The Cradle” has no connection to the movie of the same title.

Sometimes we have a situation where we have the couple dance with their parents at the same time and “Sunrise, Sunset” is perfect because the woman singer is talking about her son marrying the male singer’s daughter.
